ACTS OF GOD, AND OTHER ISSUES:

Occasionally, situations will occur that are out of our control. This includes natural disasters or other similar events that affect our ability to provide you an enjoyable trip.  Our cancellation policy is as follows:

-If we determine the trip can go ahead without undue risk, the trip will go ahead. If the customer decides to cancel it is treated as a client cancellation.

-If we determine it is conditions are not suitable to run a trip as scheduled, the trip is cancelled and we give you a spot on in another trip to the same destination, or a full credit to use towards any of our other future trips.

INSURANCE

Travel medical insurance is mandatory for all of our trips. If you have your own travel medical insurance, it needs to:

  • cover evacuation (e.g., air evacuation) and hospital costs

  • cover mountain biking trips (some policies include mountain biking in their list of “extreme” sports that aren’t covered under their policy)

If you don't have insurance, you can purchase discounted comprehensive insurance from bikeflights.com.  Protection includes:

  • Trip cancellation up to 10% of your trip cost

  • Equipment protection for delay, loss, theft, and damage up to $2500

  • Trip interruption up to 100% of trip cost

  • Medical expenses up to $50,000

  • Emergency medical transportation up to $1,000,000

We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive insurance, including trip cancellation and interruption: if anything should happen to you before or during your trip, your investment will be covered.
